1. Use of this Website

You must be 18 years of age or older to use this website. By accessing or using this site, you agree to do so for lawful purposes and to comply with all applicable laws. We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access at any time, without notice, for any violation of these terms.

2. Our Role as Itinerary Curator

Cultural Connections Asia, LLC is a U.S.-based travel and cultural education company that curates small-group travel experiences. We act solely as a booking facilitator and itinerary curator. We do not own, operate, or control the third-party hotels, airlines, guides, or other service providers included in our journeys. Travel involves inherent risks, including but not limited to health, safety, and local conditions. By booking a journey with us, you acknowledge that we are not liable for the actions, negligence, or failures of these third-party providers and that you accept the inherent risks associated with travel.

3. Bookings, Payments, and Pricing

A non-refundable deposit, as specified on the individual journey page, is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Final payment is typically due 90 days prior to departure. All prices are in U.S. Dollars. We accept payment via credit card or bank transfer.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. However, due to our commitments with local partners, our cancellation policy is as follows:

• Cancellation by the Traveler: All cancellations must be received in writing. Deposits are non-refundable. For cancellations received more than 90 days before departure, a partial refund may be available, less the non-refundable deposit. Cancellations received within 90 days of departure are subject to significant cancellation fees, up to 100% of the journey cost.
• Cancellation by the Company: In the rare event that we must cancel a journey, you will be offered the choice of a full refund of all monies paid to us or a credit for a future journey.

5. Mandatory Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all guests. Prior to departure, you must provide proof of a policy that includes, at a minimum, coverage for medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, and trip cancellation/interruption.

6. Traveler Obligations

As a guest on our journeys, you agree to:

• Hold a valid passport with at least six months' validity from the date of return and secure all necessary visas.
• Inform us of any physical limitations, medical conditions, or dietary restrictions at the time of booking.
• Respect and adhere to the laws, customs, and cultural norms of the destination countries.
• We reserve the right to remove any traveler from a journey for behavior that is disruptive, unsafe, or illegal, at the traveler's own expense and without refund.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including text, photos, videos, design elements, and branding—is the property of Cultural Connections Asia, LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not use, copy, distribute, or alter any content without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

This site and its content are provided “as is.” We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the availability, accuracy, or completeness of the information provided. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that our services will meet your specific expectations.

9. Limitation of Liability

Cultural Connections Asia, LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our site or participation in our journeys. This includes, but is not limited to, injury, illness, property damage, or delays caused by third-party providers, acts of God, political unrest, or other force majeure events beyond our control.

10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, any legal action shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.

11. Privacy Policy

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines our practices concerning the collection and use of your personal information. By using this site, you consent to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

12. Updates to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Your continued use of the site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
